Percussion

For the past two years Andrew has been taking percussion. At the end of May they had a concert and I remembered my camera.

Zita's birthday

On Tuesday, June 15th Zita celebrated her birthday. We couldn't make her favorite Hungarian meal so she settled for homeade American pizza. And of course cake and candles are universal.

Lacrosse tournament

Friday and Saturday we spent in Park City for Andrew's lacrosse tournament. Over the two days his team played five games. They won one, tied two and lost two. They played teams from Chicago, California, Idaho and Colorado.

On Friday Molly and I were the only ones able to go.

Saturday we were all able to go watch.

It was windy and if you can't tell he doesn't like the wind.

It was a beautiful setting for a tournament and I love being able to sit and watch my children with nothing else to worry about for the moment but the game.

Temple Trips

In May we made it to the Quirrh Mountain temple.

We were missing Molly and Sam. Molly couldn't find her recommend and Sam was working.




June 1st we made it to the Ogden temple.

This time we were missing Andrew who had lacrosse practice and Sam who was working. We added Zita, a friend from Hungary, who is staying with us for the summer. It was her first time going to the temple.

On June 12th we make it to the Bountiful temple.

We had the whole family!!

Can you tell the wind was blowing? It was a cold day, especially for June.

It was a neat experience for the kids doing baptisms because the people they were baptized for were Hungarian. Sam helped with the baptisms so pronouncing the names wasn't a problem. Jamie was even baptized for a Szabo. It was great for Zita too.

Andrew's birthday

On Friday the 11th Andrew celebrated his 14th birthday. As much as he doesn't like shopping he decided that was the best way to get something he wanted. He ended up with arm bands, shoes, and clothes.

This year his for his birthday dinner he wanted Garden Pasta and for dessert Dad's chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream.

Some of Andrew's favorite things are lacrosse, lazy summer days, friends, and beef jerky.
