Alleman runion

Every year for many years, the last Saturday of August had been the Alleman reunion. (My Dad's family)

It started with my Grandpa & Grandma Alleman

 Joy & Jean always join us.

Joy is my dad's cousin. He is an only child.  My dad always says he and Joy grew up more like brothers than cousins.

Sam's 1st day of school

Today Sam started his second semester at Salt Lake Community College.

Drivers Beware!

Andrew got his learners permit today!!

It has been quite a process.

1st attempt-Sam was going to take Andrew after he got home from work but he fell asleep.

2nd attempt-Andrew & I stop by forgetting we need a birth certificate and social security card.

3rd attempt-Sam takes Andrew but he needs a parent or legal guardian.

4th attempt-I take Andrew but forget my drivers license.

5th attempt-Success!

My baby goes to high school

Andrew started High School today.

It doesn't seem that long ago that he went to kindergarten.

August 27, 2001

Molly and Jamie off to college.

Today Molly and Jamie loaded the suburban to the brim and headed off to Ephraim to Snow College.

It will be really different not having them around.

I wish I would of got a picture of them and the suburban.

Last adventure before school.

Molly, Jamie and Andrew took a trip to California.  They left Sunday morning and came back Friday night.

As  you cans see they had lots of fun mostly at the beach.
They all said the 27 hours in the car was worth it.

Bull Riding

The Johnson's got tickets to the bull riding at the Utah County Fair in Spanish Fork and they invited us to go with them.  Scott is not much of a rodeo fan but he was a good sport and went because he knows I like it.

 Very few made it to the buzzer.

It was an enjoyable evening.
