Memorial Day

For Memorial day we went to Idaho.
The highlight of the week end was the "big" baseball game McKay had been planning for weeks.We all participated regardless of our skill level.

We even had cracker jack and treats.

Because of McKay's prayers the weather even cooperated.

We had the baseball game at Thatcher Elementary.

Jolene works there so we were able to go on a grand tour.

It was a walk down memory lane since this was the elementary school I went to.

  That tells you how long this building has been around.

Molly got a job!!

Seminary Graduation

Today Jamie graduated from Seminary.  It is becoming real that she is graduating and will be starting a new chapter in her life.  She has had a great experience this year serving on the Seminary Council.

Mother's day/Scott's birthday

Every few years Scott's birthday and Mother's day fall on the same day.  Since Scott likes to cook he usually cooks the main meal and I do his favorite dessert (pistachio cake). 

This year Molly did the dessert. 

 It was a good day.

The kids gave me a new tea kettle

 (sad day but we retired the "tea kattle") 

and Scott the first season of the TV show "Modern Family". 

He laughs out loud when he watches that show.
