Snow storm

Hopefully the last snow storm of the season.
It was a soft, fluffy snow which didn't last long.

Carl Bloch display

For Young Women's the moms and daughters went to the Carl Bloch display at the BYU Museum of Art.  It was very interesting.  I didn't realize we use so many of his paintings in the church.  We couldn't take pictures of the displays so we got some pictures before we went in.

Cub Scouts

After almost 10 years in Cub Scouts, tonight I attended my last pack meeting, the Blue and Gold banquet.  I was called to be a leader the summer before Sam turned eight, I was pregnant with Andrew.  At the time I didn't know the difference between a Wolf and a Bear.  I took a few years off in the middle to serve in Relief Society.  I have learned a lot about boys and a lot about being a leader.  I think the best thing I learned which could be a motto for life is KISMIF.
Keep it Simple, Make it Fun.

Presidents Day

Scott had to work, Sam went to California with Jarod and his family for the weekend, so Molly, Jamie, and I went to Zupas for lunch. Molly had never been there and Jamie loves it.  We couldn't convince Andrew to go.  He said he couldn't  get full there.   It was fun to spend some time together.

High School basketball

Jamie has been asking Scott and I to go to a High School basketball game all season.  We finally made it to the game Friday night.  They played Lone Peak, their greatest rivals.  It was a good game but sad to say we didn't win.  If we would have won we would have been tied for first in our region.
Going to the game brought back lots of memories, most of them good. When I was in High School I went to all the games and had lots of fun  but I am sure glad I don't have to go back to that time of my life.  So much of what seems important in High School doesn't really matter.
This season Jamie has not missed a basketball game.  Do you really think she likes basketball that much??
