Easter

"Family traditions are like spiritual and emotional cement in the foundation of a happy home. They create fond memories, and these memories bond us together as nothing else can."
Ensign March 1986-Traditions Worth Keeping
No matter how old they still like to color Easter eggs,
and
search for their candy.
(I thought I hid the candy in easy places but after a short search they gave up and we played the hot/cold game so they could find it.)

Wedding

Scott's oldest brother, Gregg, youngest son, Michael, got married, so we drove Mom Szabo to Idaho Falls to the wedding.  It was a quick trip but we got to see some family we haven't seen for a long time.

It wasn't a temple wedding but there was a beautiful view of the Idaho Falls temple out the picture windows of the hotel where the wedding was held.  I couldn't resist snapping a picture.

Jamie's birthday

Jamie celebrated her 18th birthday.
She chose to eat at Zuppas, one of her favorite places.

Her favorite cake is still party cake with party frosting and sprinkles.
This year she wanted mint chocolate chip ice cream,
a step up from vanilla.
Happy Birthday Jamie, We Love You!!

Spring Break

Most people go to warm places for spring break.  We had a chance to go to Bear River Lodge with the Johnsons so we took the chance to get away for a few days, snow, cold and all.  It was good to get away.  We had to leave Scott and Bryan home because they had to work.  We did miss having them along.
This is the way we began  our stay at the lodge.
We. . .  played the Wii, (Yes, they even got me to play.)
 Some won more than others.
Andrew was ready for a new partner.
 . . . did homework,
 . . . enjoyed ourselves,
 . . . slept
. . . watched movies, and read books.
and this is the way we ended our stay.
We had a great time.

General Conference

What a blessing to have living prophets and apostles to guide us.
We continue our tradition of banana splits after the priesthood session and the guys giving us a recap.
Andrew was sick so he didn't go and passed on the banana splits. That is why he isn't in any of the pictures.
