Friends/Neighbors/Visitning Teaching

 Shelia, Me, Judie
(I don't usually feel tall.)
Teri Sue, Shelia, Judie

Since we moved here 21 years ago Judie and Shelia have been my neighbors.
You couldn't ask for better neighbors.
Right now Teri Sue and I have the privilege of being their visiting teachers.
We took Shelia out for her birthday at Cafe Rio.
I feel blessed to call them my friends.
(I am glad you had your phone Teri Sue so we have pictures.)

March Madness

This year Jamie got us all in to March Madness.  For our Family Home Evening activity we all had to fill out our brackets

For most of us it was a guessing game.
Jamie kept points and everything
We play for big stakes.
Scott told them we would go out to eat and the winner would get to choose the place.

We each had a different team winning but none of us was right. All our teams have lost.
As you can see Jamie came out the winner.

Prom

Saturday was Prom, Jamie's last High School dance.  She wanted a pouffy, formal dress.  We found a place in Mapleton that rented dresses. (Elsha Raes Dress Boutique)
She went with Michael.
Day date: a basketball game, then
 bowling.
Dinner was at one of the guy's houses in the group.
There was so much good food Jamie couldn't eat it all.

The dance was at Sleepy Hollow Golf Course.

"It was so fun!!!"

Ordinary things

Since I have started working I love days when I get to be at home and do ordinary things like get the house cleaned, bake bread, and work on projects.

Lacrosse tournament

Friday and Saturday American Fork sponsered a lacrosse tournament.  It was for 9th and 10th graders.  It is the first time AF has done anything like this.  They had ten teams participate.  It was a success.
Andrew's team won three of their four games.
Sam is helping coach.  He is almost as fun to watch as Andrew.

Molly

Last week Molly was home for her spring break.  She enjoyed sleeping in and catching up on some TV.  We didn't do anything too exciting.  We did go to lunch on Friday to her favorite place, Cafe Rio and she went to the movies with Amy and the boys.
We enjoyed having her home.  She is very appreciative and helpful.  She is fun to have around.
