This year our tree had quite a few apricots. After giving some away there were still lots left so I stayed up late and took care of them. They tasted good but they didn't look good enough to can so I made jam and fruit leather. Sam and I love apricots. We have now converted Andrew but the other three have yet to come over to the apricot side
With all these apricots Sam reminded me of the children's book we have called Apricot Ape.
It is a cute story of how the apes came to be an apricot color.
The book doesn't have any words but it has a tape that goes along with it. It is one of those books that is worn around the edges because the kids loved it.
