 Saturday for a short time we were all home.  Jamie and Molly were home for the weekend and Sam had brought Andrew home from lacrosse and stayed for a while to visit a friend. 

Those are times to me cherished.

Sundance Film Festival

Scott has always loved movies.  He started out being a film major at BYU but decided it wasn't the life he wanted for him and his family.  This year through his work he was able to get two tickets to a movie at the Sundance Film Festival.  It can be a bit tricky deciding what to see since the films are not yet rated.  Scott did his research and picked a movie that sounded like it would be good and said we can always walk out if it gets too bad.  Saturday morning we went to Park City and saw the movie "The Words".  It was an interesting movie.  There were three different stories going on.  After the movie they had a short question and answer time with the two writers.  It was fun to hear the story behind the movie. I can now say I have been to the Sundance Film Festival.

Blogs

I am sure Andrew's English teacher wonders about him.  For his English class they are required to do a blog.  This is the way they turn their homework in.  His URL is "ihateenglish10" and he titled it "Blogs Suck".  I guess you don't have to wonder how he feels about it.  I told him  he had a smart teacher, she was teaching them a skill and getting the homework done at the same time.  He said I still think blogs are dumb.  One day he will appreciate the wisdom of his elders.
I just smile and shake my head.  You can't help but love him.

Today Andrew said he is feeling like an old person.  He started conditioning for lacrosse this week and every muscle is hurting.  No matter how in shape you feel when conditioning starts your find muscles you never knew you had.

Snow

The first snow of the season that has covered everything.  I didn't bother to shovel,  the sun had melted most of it by afternoon.

Stake Women's Conference

Yesterday we had our Stake Women's Conference.  The theme was "We are Daughters in His Kingdom".  

I felt the Spirit and was reminded that "I am a daughter of God" and "I am enough". It certainly renewed my resolve to read and study the book Daughters in My Kingdom-The history and work of Relief Society.
